PATRICIA

Patricia Zhou is a freelance dancer, movement director and award-winning filmmaker based in London.

An award at the Prix De Lausanne lead to her first job at the Royal Ballet in London. She later on moved on to the Staatsballett-Berlin in Germany where she stayed in Berlin for five years, where she starred as the leading role in several productions.

In 2017, Patricia was invited to join L.A. Dance Project by Benjamin Millepied, world- renowned choreographer of the movie "Black Swan" and former artistic director of the Paris Opera Ballet. This lead to many fruitful creations and inspired Patricia to pursue different paths as well as the creation of her own dance films.

In 2019, Patricia left company life to pursue freelance commercial dance work in an effort to represent Asian Americans on screen in a way that she wanted to see them (and herself) portrayed. Since then, Patricia has also started film-making and movement directing. Past clients include Rodarte, Nike and Set Active.
