Nick Coutsier is a visionary movement director whose work bridges the worlds of dance, fashion, and performance art, creating unforgettable, boundary-pushing experiences across the globe.

With a career that began at the age of 12, Nick Coutsier's journey into the world of dance was rooted in urban styles like hip-hop and house. 

In 2012, Nick elevated his craft by enrolling at the prestigious Artesis Plantijn Royal Conservatory in Antwerp, where he pursued a bachelor's degree in contemporary dance. He quickly became a sought-after talent, collaborating with Lali Ayguadé in Kokoro and touring with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui’s Nomad.

His career flourished with roles such in Theo Clinkard’s This Bright Field and in Eszter Salamon’s installation piece Monument 0.4: Lores & Praxes. In 2018, he premiered in Lali Aguadé’s iU an Mi and later teamed up with Connor Schumacher. He also captivated audiences in Marine Mane’s A mon corps défendant.

Nick’s talent caught the attention of superstars. He worked as the lead dancer in Beyoncé’s iconic Spirit music video in 2018 and in 2023, took the fashion world by storm. He performed in Lady Gaga x Dom Pérignon, served as movement director for Pharrell Williams’ debut Louis Vuitton fashion show, and directed Gucci's spring/summer 2023 eyewear campaign.
